About Chrysalis Womb & Tomb Doula

I'm Trish- a full spectrum doula, a former Neonatal ICU (NICU) nurse of 11 years, and a companion for all who are crossing thresholds of life, loss, and identity. My work lives in the space where transformation happens, the Chrysalis, and I walk with birthing persons through whatever their journey asks of them.

As a nurse I attended deliveries for 5 years and otherwise cared for the most vulnerable population including premature babies, those born with genetic differences, infections, those requiring surgical interventions and who experienced medical emergencies during their journey Earthside. The interactions I had with these families fully guided me to the way of being present in that sacred space.

Following my beloved nursing career, I've worked privately supporting families beyond NICU, worked briefly with Hospice, and intimately navigated my own journey with Grief. I am a graduate of the SBCC Community Based Doula Certification Program (Feb 2025) and the Anam Cara Death Doula Certification program (Nov 2024).

Now as a full spectrum doula, I bring my nursing history while providing non-medical emotional, educational, and self-empowering intuitive support for prenatal, birth, postpartum, and end of life journeys. I specialize in high-risk pregnancy support, families welcoming a Rainbow Baby, and postpartum care for NICU birthing persons. It is my honor in memory of the legacy of my many NICU angels to serve individuals during end-of-life journeys. 

NICU babies taught me Legacy, Holding Space, Being a Witness, and How to Navigate Grief.  In the honorable legacy of one of my NICU babies, I proudly work with the Sedona Butterfly Effect 501(3)c non-profit to support children with Cerebral Palsy and helped launch their latest project, Kaleidoscope, serving Pediatric Souls navigating end-of-life journeys. Additionally, I am a proud member of the Beyond the Veil Doula Collective. My biggest honor to date remains being a mother to twins, Ashlyn & Adryan (2009) and Aurora (2018). Birth, Death, and Children have taught me everything I know. Looking forward to our connection!
